Snapshots represent a database's state at a specific point in time.

Snapshot Creation​

  • Generated after each incremental backup.
  • Based on the updated Golden Image.

Usage​

  • Recovery (complete or point-in-time).
  • Cloning (one snapshot can be used for many clones).

Management Actions​

  • Delete unused snapshots.
  • Adjust retention policies.
